Our Worship

Our weekly worship service centers around the Word and Table. These two primary elements are supported through prayer and music in a traditional service order which guides us in worship.

In the Call to Worship, we are welcomed into God's presence through Scripture and prayer. In the Ministry of the Word, you will hear expository, practical Bible teaching. In the Ministry of the Table, we partake of communion together every Sunday. We conclude our service with a Benediction and dismissal.

Our music reflects a diversity of styles, including traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. We desire our church to reflect the diversity of our community and ultimately what worship will look like in heaven (Revelation 7:9-10).

What Makes Us Unique?

One of our core values is Legacy in Worship. This means we value multiple generations worshipping together. This legacy is also historical. We are a non-denominational church that celebrates historic elements of worship, including weekly communion, observing the church calendar, and reciting the Nicene Creed together.

Our shared approach to leadership is evident in Sunday worship, where you will see a variety of faces leading elements of our service. For the sermon, you will hear from a member of our teaching team, a diversely gifted group who share in the preaching.

We believe the church is best served when men and women lead and minister together for the building up of the body. This conviction is lived out in our pastoral staff and leadership board. To read our statement on women and men in ministry, click here.

Q&A

How do people dress?

Come as you feel comfortable. You will find some dressed casually, and others more dressed up. God alone sees our hearts, and we desire unity in Christ rather than division over externals.

What about my kids?

We want your whole family to feel at home as we worship. We offer a professionally staffed nursery, a range of children's classes, and our youth group meets weekly at 11:30 am. For more on what to expect for your kids on Sunday, click here.

Will I be asked to give money?

We never ask or pressure our guests to give. There is a time in our service where many members give to help support our ministries and partners around the world. Scripture teaches us that giving should be joyful and from the heart (2 Corinthians 9:7).
