Women

We’re real women, finding Real Life in Jesus Christ together as we study and discuss God’s Word, care and pray for one another, and share Christ in us with others. New faces are always warmly welcomed!

Women’s Bible Studies
Wednesdays
6 am
Free for All – Galatians. Room A2
Our small group study of Galatians will look at the freedom that is ours in the gospel of Jesus, and at the things which threaten to drag us back in to slavery. To sign up or learn more, click here.

Wednesdays 10 am & 6:15 pm
Homeward Bound – I Peter. Room A2
Discover the certain hope of Christ in every circumstance of life as we study
I Peter together. In a new format, join us for praise and a brief teaching time followed by small group discussion and prayer. To sign up or learn more, click here.

Events
Ladies’ Christmas Brunch – Dec. 5
All ladies (youth included) are invited to this informal potluck where we’ll get a chance to visit and hear a brief story of how God is at work in and through women in our body. New women are especially welcomed to attend as our honored guests.

FAB Ladies’ Book Club – Fellowship and Books
Open to all women who love in-depth conversation about good books. Meets the 3rd Friday of each month in various homes. Contact Cheryl Taylor: cantaylor@verizon.net.

Retreat
Our retreats allow ladies of all generations a place to get away together and have a lot of fun, a few lingering conversations, and an opportunity to grow in Christ around God’s Word and prayer.

Service
Rwanda Women’s Initiative
TFC has a 3-year partnership with ALARM in Rwanda, and we hope that part of that work will be with women: conferences, leadership training, teacher and administrator support for a secondary girls school, and more. Pray, help, prepare, send, or consider going!

Local Opportunities to Share
There are a number of places where women of TFC love their neighbors in the name of Jesus Christ. See the back of this brochure for specifics, or contact Diana Calvin for how to connect with these ministries.

WINGS Women In God’s Service
Every woman at TFC is a member of this group, which finds joy in offering acts of service to meet needs according to each one’s gifts, time, and availability. Occasional emails from the church office will alert you to opportunities as they arise.
