Women

At TFC we’re real women, moving into the remarkable love of Jesus Christ together as we study and discuss God’s Word, care and pray for one another, and share Christ in us with others. New faces are always warmly welcomed!

DISCOVER who God is: Women’s Bible Studies
Bible Study Topic: Prayer – Wednesdays at 6 am, 10 am & 6:15 pm
What is more important than prayer? If you’re like many Christians, you know about prayer and its importance, yet struggle with a consistent and faithful prayer life. The topic may even bring feelings of guilt and past failure. As followers of Christ we
are called to pray without ceasing.

Join us as we dive into what the Bible teaches about prayer and its forms, how we can learn from ancient patterns of prayer, and ultimately, how we can grow personally in our daily communication with God. January-May.

Summer Bible Study 2015: Hospitality
We all know the joy of being warmly welcomed, and the sting of being excluded. Practicing Biblical hospitality is powerful, and its impact far more reaching than simply food with friends. Join us for this 9-week study and discover the greatness of God’s call to hospitality. More details soon.

SHARE the Real Life of Jesus Christ together
Rwanda Women’s Initiative
Women are vital to the future of Rwanda. The parliament is more than 50% women, more than any other country in the world. We began a 3-year partnership with ALARM in Rwanda the fall of 2014, and part of the continuing work will be with women: conferences, leadership training, teacher and administrator support for a secondary girls school, and more. Pray, help, prepare, send, or consider going!

Local Volunteer Opportunities
There are a number of places where women of TFC love their neighbors in the name of Jesus Christ. Contact Diana Calvin for a list of these opportunities.
