The Deacons are charged with the responsibility of serving the physical needs of the community. The board of deacons, composed of men and women, are chosen by the elders to oversee the many needs of the community, such as finances, facilities, benevolence, and special events. The chairman of the deacon board provides guidance and oversight to the work of the deacons. The deacon board also has representation from both the staff and elders.
