Pre-Thanksgiving Day – Advent Begins this Sunday, Nov. 27.

The word “Advent” means “coming,” and marks the beginning of the church year by directing the church in hope towards the return of Jesus and the culmination of His eternal kingdom. The four Sundays prior to Christmas move backwards in time from anticipation for Christ’s second coming to the familiar themes of Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem.

Invite family and friends into our celebration of Advent this year. Listen to the new Advent songs we will be singing this Sunday. You’ll find our Advent schedule and links to new songs each week in the Epistle, and on the website Advent 2016 page.

We are waiting, we are waiting, we are waiting for Him!
